Authenticity (pg. 45-46) – An approach to life that focuses on being true to who we feel we are

 

Child (pg. 25-26) – The set of emotions within us that tends to experience life as a child would

 

Faith-filled authenticity (pg. 47-48) – An approach to life which focuses on being true to who God says we are

 

False God of permissive-love (pg. 8-9) – A made-up god that is pleased with many belief systems and actions that the true God of the Bible condemns

 

Fantasy (pg. 37-38) – A set of thoughts and images that make us feel OK but aren’t based in reality

 

“I’ll Prove Myself” (pg. 32-33) – An OK Game in which we try to prove our worth

Tolerance-based authenticity (pg. 46-47) – An approach to life in which we believe we have a moral obligation to focus on being true to who we feel we are

 

Train Tracks (pg. 12) – A way of thinking. Our thoughts and feelings are like a train that tends to run along certain tracks. Until we learn new ways of thinking (new tracks), we find it difficult to change.

 

Ungodliness (pg. 9) – Worship of gods other than the True God, or bad worship of the True God
