Exchanged Glory: A Vision of Freedom
In this first book of the Exchanged Glory series, I have tried to lay out a vision for how we reach freedom from stubborn sexual sins. It centers on the root of all of our problems: we don’t know our God. We have replaced Him with weak images that can’t save us and which leave us at the mercy of our sinful foolishness. Freedom comes as we replace these images with a living relationship with Jesus Christ. In the process, the Holy Spirit renews our minds so that we learn God’s truth. The train tracks of our thoughts and feelings are rearranged deep into our hearts, bringing true freedom.
I still had (and have) many lessons to learn in life, and Lord willing I will describe some of these in the next four books. Exchanged Glory II: The OK Stronghold will look at a major stronghold that misleads people and can lead to an addictive mindset. Exchanged Glory III: Wise as Serpents will tell how I learned to tap into the flood of wisdom that God is pouring out in the world. Exchanged Glory IV: A Time for Every Purpose will describe how I found God’s overcoming grace in the middle of the onslaught of sin and death. Finally, in Exchanged Glory V: God Meant It for Good I will share how God brought to fullness the work He had been doing in me for years. He healed my emotions, changed my sexual orientation, and set me free indeed.
