EMPs 147

Psalm 147:1-7, 11-14 NKJV

 

  1. Praise the LORD!

    2. For it is good to sing praises to our God;

    For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.

  2. The LORD builds up Jerusalem;

    3. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

  3. He heals the brokenhearted

    4. And binds up their wounds.

  4. He counts the number of the stars;

    5. He calls them all by name.

  5. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;

    6. His understanding is infinite.

  6. The LORD lifts up the humble;

    7. He casts the wicked down to the ground.

  7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving;

    8. Sing praises on the harp to our God,

  1. The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him,

    2. In those who hope in His mercy.

  2. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem!

    3. Praise your God, O Zion!

  3. For He has strengthened the bars of your gates;

    4. He has blessed your children within you.

  4. He makes peace in your borders,

    5. And fills you with the finest wheat.
