CHAPTER 5: SPIRITUAL UNITY-OUR MORAL THREADS
[26] I am not espousing an ideology that religious leaders or those in positions of authority in the church run the government or that there should be a state religion. The church represents a moral foundation for our nation’s beliefs and values, and those beliefs and values can never be separated from how we govern. Those who rule will do so having beliefs based on their moral foundation. It is from these beliefs and values that legislators enact our laws (i.e., what and what are not acceptable practices in our society). Those who wish to deceive, use the concept of separation of church and state to promote their religion. Even when people claim that they don’t believe in God and don’t follow a religion, it is simply not true. Everyone derives their beliefs and values from a spiritual source. Evil forces are at work to make sure that the one authentic source of truth is excluded from how we govern ourselves through our laws. They don’t want our values imposed on them, but they have no problem imposing their values on us. They promote the values that come from their source, but they don’t call it religion. Secular humanism for example is disguised as a philosophy, but it is a religion where “self” is worshiped as god. In addition, those who originally promoted the concept of separation of church and state only intended to prevent a specific religion from becoming the “state” church. With this I am in wholehearted agreement. But the enemies of God are using this concept to completely prevent His name from being used in state offices and especially schools. We cannot pray, we cannot talk about intelligent design, we cannot offer any alternatives to evil. “Separation of church and state” has become a code word for evil to say, “God is not welcome here”. It is understandable why some can accept the concept of the separation of church and state. But because I believe that the use of this phrase is a tactic that evil is using to prevent the advance of God’s Kingdom, I cannot.

CHAPTER 7: SPIRITUAL WARFARE: EXPOSING THE WAY OF THE EVIL ONE
[28] See the appendix for one respected author’s teaching about this spirit.
[29] Many Christians believe that in the end times, the world will be ruled by a single ruler who sits over a one world government and another leader who will sit over a one world church. My purpose is not to dispute this way of thinking, but to sound a warning. We should not be lulled into slumber thinking things are okay because a one world ruler or religion has not arisen. Revelation 14:8 clearly states that “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Individual national identity seems to still be the order of the day at the end of church history.
