Exchanged Glory II: The OK Stronghold
Many thanks to my oldest daughter, who read an early draft of this book and said basically, “The first few chapters are boring.” This sent me back for several weeks of rewriting, but I believe it helped the book greatly. My daughter also let me know that The Message Bible would match my style well. I have used it whenever I could force myself to break away from translations that more closely match the original Greek and Hebrew.
I am grateful to my church, which has not tried to force me into a traditional Christian mold. The freedom they gave me in the Lord has helped me to come up with creative solutions to the difficulties of my life.
I should also mention Bob and Linda, who enjoyed talking with me about ideas like the ones in this book. They have been wise friends who my wife and I felt free to trust with the details of our struggles.
