  1. To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

  2. O my God, in you I trust;

    3. Do not let me be put to shame;

    Do not let enemies exult over me.

  3. Do not let those who wait for you be put to shame;

    4. But shame the ones who lie, and wantonly deceive.

  4. Make me to know your ways, O Lord;

    5. Teach your paths.

  5. Lead in your truth,

    6. For you're the one who saved my soul;

    For you I wait all day long.

  6. Be mindful of your mercy, Lord, your steadfast love,

    7. For they have been from old, they are forever Lord.

  7. Do not remember the sins of my youth

    8. Or my transgressions;

    According to your steadfast love,

    Remember me O Lord, for your goodness" sake!

  8. Good and upright is the Lord;

    9. So he instructs the sinner in the way.

  9. He leads the humble in what's right,

    10. And He teaches them his way.

  10. And all the paths of God are love,

    11. Are steadfast love and faithfulness,

    For those who keep his covenant and his decrees
