  1. Vindicate me, O Lord, for I

    2. Have walked in my integrity,

    And I have trusted in the Lord

    Without any wavering.

  2. Prove me, O Lord, and try me too;

    3. And test my heart, and test my mind.

  3. For your love is before my eyes,

    4. I walk in faithfulness to you.

  4. I do not sit with worthless men,

    5. Nor do I deal with hypocrites;

  5. I hate the company of those,

    6. And will not sit with the wicked.

  6. I wash my hands in innocence,

    7. And go around your altar, Lord,

  7. Singing aloud a song of thanks,

    8. Telling your wonderful deeds.

  8. O Lord, I love the house in which you live,

    9. And the place your glory dwells.

  9. Do not sweep me away with sinners Lord,

    10. Nor my life with bloodthirsty men,

  10. In whose hands are evil works,

    11. And whose right hands are full of bribes.

  11. I walk in my integrity;

    12. Redeem me, and be gracious Lord.

  12. My foot, it stands on level ground;

    13. I'll join with all to bless the Lord.
