  1. The Lord is my light and my salvation;

    2. Whom shall I fear?

    The Lord is the stronghold of my life;

    Of whom shall I be afraid?

  1. For he will hide me safe in his shelter

    2. Safe in the day of trouble;

    He will conceal me under his cover;

    And he will set me high.

  2. My head is lifted above my enemies

    3. Though they are all around me,

    And I will offer my sacrifices

    And I will sing with joy.

  3. Lord hear me when I, when I cry out, lord

    4. Be gracious Lord and answe!

  4. "Come," my heart says, and, "seek my God's face!"

    5. Your face, Lord, do I seek.

  5. Don't turn your servant away in anger,

    6. You who have been my help.

    Do not forsake me, God my salvation!
