Comments, Suggestions, Bugs

If you have comments about this site, please add them to the comments section below. This is also the place to add suggestions for improving the site. If you find things that don't work right on this site ("bugs"), please let us know about them in a comment here (or send an email to psalmpsong@yahoo.com). It is impossible for us to test every possible combination of books and devices. If you help us find problems, you help us improve the site.

One more thing, if you find a small mistake in a book, like a typo, please add a comment describing the mistake to the page where you found it. In the subject tag, please use the string #bug to make it easy for us to identify that there is something to fix.

Thank you.

Here are some situations that have shown up that may require you to work around a problem.

  • 8-20-2018: The following message has shown up for at least one user of this site:

    Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

When the message showed up, the person who saw it was unable to return to the book he was reading. We have fixed this problem, so it shouldn't show up again. If our fix doesn't handle every situation and you run into this problem, you may be able to work around it by resetting all cookies at this site. This will cause you to lose any formatting you have done on the books, but it will hopefully also enable you to once again reach all books on the site. The following link will reset all cookies: https://www.tevl.org/reset.

  • 5-24-2019: On Apple phones, and perhaps other devices, the last Where I Was or Marker value can be lost. It appears that the phone doesn't permanently save the values right away. In order to work around this, we suggest you wait at least 10 seconds after your last change before closing your browser. This gives the browser time to save the change.

I eventually figured out how to get back home BUT I think it would have been simpler that when I went say to John W's book that instead of first having to go back to "BOOKS", I could have also been given the option to go "HOME" perhaps at the bottom of the page.

Hi Vera,
Thanks for your suggestion. I added a "Home" link to the title pages of books.
