Freedom in God's Divine Order for Women
The following is a list of the reference material I studied in researching the subject of women in the church:
Delitzsch Commentary on the Old Testament, Jamieson, Faussett, and Brown Commentary, Barnes Notes, Adam Clark’s Commentary, The New Bible Commentary Revised by Eerdmans, Strong’s Greek/Hebrew Definitions, New Unger’s Bible Dictionary, Nelson’s Bible Dictionary, Faussett Bible Dictionary, International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, Thayer’s Greek Lexicon, Brown-Driver Briggs Hebrew Lexicon, Old and New Testament Interlinear Bibles, Naves Topical Bible, Englishman’s Concordance, Vine’s Expository Dictionaries of Old and New Testament Words, and Vincent’s New Testament Word Studies.
In addition I used the following 12 translations of the Bible to understand how specific Greek and Hebrew words are handled by the various linguistic staffs:
American Standard Version (ASV), New American Standard Version (NAS), New American Standard Version updated (NASU), Biblesoft Interlinear Transliterated Bible[118] (ITB), King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), New International Version (NIV), Revised Standard Version (RSV), New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), The Amplified Version (AV), The Concordant Literal Version (CLV), and The Living Bible (TLB).
